Live from New York it’s…. Donna and Christine!

Well, they are alive and they are relocating to Central New York from the City to bring a new kind of dining and entertainment to the Whitesboro area.  

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…

Christine Carleo grew up in Whitesboro and attended Brockport State College (which by itself qualifies her to run an action-packed, extremely fun bar).  In 1984, she moved to New York City and managed a department at Citibank for several years (Banker?  I know.  Stay with us…), receiving the “Service Excellence” award in customer service.  She continued her career at Modell’s where she rose through the ranks as the Controller (Bean Counter?  Yes, but every business needs one) of real estate, non-profit and jewelry sectors of the company.  After 13 years and following the attacks of September 11th, Christine opted for the non-profit sector to afford her more leisure time and less pressure.  She accepted the position of Controller at the Audio Engineering Society where she spent the past 10 years and handling all day-to-day operations.  Christine brings this outstanding record of achievement back to her hometown to show Central New Yorkers that you can have fun and run a good, solid business built on treating customers with respect.

You can take the girl out of the city…

Donna Vivero is a city girl -- born and raised in Queens, New York.  A graduate of St. Agnes Academic High School, Donna continued her education at Queensboro Community College majoring in Fine Arts (expect some awesome décor at BBG’s).  Before settling down into the workforce, Donna embarked on a two-month journey through Europe.  For the past 22 years, Donna was employed by the Audio Engineering Society and has worked in each department, amassing an enormous amount of knowledge of the business as it pertains to event planning and customer relations (Your parties will be in excellent hands).  Donna is an energetic and committed business woman who is determined to make BBG’s a fun and safe entertainment outlet (Yes, you can still have a cocktail and act goofy).  

Donna and Christine forged a partnership to further their business ventures and departed for the wide open spaces of upstate New York.  BBG’s is about making their dream a reality by providing a new concept in entertainment to Central New York.  So come along for the ride and enjoy a little taste of the Big City in upstate New York!
